Description
Located on the south-west tip of Julian Rocks, the Needles are large bombies that rise up close to the surface. It's possible to see them just under that water from the boat. There are some currents and with this there are Current here often brings schools of large and small fish. During some months there are huge rays and very often leopard sharks and turtles (three types - hawksbill, Green and loggerhead). Octopus and tiny shrimp can also be seen here.
The depths here range from 10 metres to 15 metres.
This site is home to many species of nudibranch. Swim along the trenches and around bombies for a very pretty and interesting dive.
